Germany allocates 399 MW of wind and 264 MW of solar power projects in an auction

In two simultaneous recent auctions held in Germany, a total of 664 MW of wind and solar capacity was allocated. Both the tenders were oversubscribed by significant margins. First was an onshore wind tender for 366 MW of tendered capacity.

Bangladesh invites bids for 100 MW of wind power projects

The Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) has issued a notice inviting interested developers to set up wind power projects at two sites in the country. Both sites, Chandpur and Coz Bazar, will have a 50 MW project each leading to a total capacity of 100 MW.
