SEK to help finance 372 MW onshore wind farm in Sweden

A large-scale onshore windfarm – Björnberget – is being planned in Sweden, with the Swedish Export Credit Corporation (SEK), a Nordic bank, contributing to finance the project. The wind farm will have a total capacity of 372 MW and will be located in Ånge, 100 km west of Sundsvall, Sweden. Its commercial operation is expected to begin in 2023.

Falck commissions 74 MW wind farm in Sweden

Falck Renewables has that it has connected its 74.1 MW Brattmyrliden wind farm in Sweden to the grid. The project is located in the Ornskoldsvik municipality and is set to generate 263.5 GWh annually which will power about 52,700 homes in the country. The project is owned by Falck Renewables’ subsidiary Brattmyrliden Vind AB and consists of 19 N133 wind turbines supplied by Nordex SE. The turbines are currently in the final testing phase before it reaches full commercial operations by the end of June 2021.
