Scala Data to provide its 100 per cent renewable energy to its customers in Brazil by 2033
Scala Data Centers, a sustainable hyperscale data centre developed by Digital Bridge has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with ENGIE Brasil Energia. The contract, which extends Scala’s commitment to 100 percent renewable energy for another five years, ensures the delivery of more than 1,600 GWh of clean energy by 2033, enough to power a city of 700,000 people for a year.
