ACEN, a power company based in the Philippines, and ib vogt, a German engineering firm, have agreed to enter into a joint venture (JV) to fund the construction and operation of nearly 1 GW of solar power facilities across the Asia-Pacific region. Solar Driving Malaysia’s Renewables Growth Following Renewed Targets

The revision up of Malaysia’s 2025 renewable target in the Twelfth Malaysia Plan (12MP) will be supported by strong solar power growth. The government has noted the 12MP as means of setting the market on the path toward a low carbon emissions economy.
