Siemens Gamesa to supply wind turbines for Vena Energy

Siemens Gamesa, a Spanish wind turbine manufacturer, has received an order from Vena Energy, a Singapore-based company, to deliver wind turbines for a 133 MW wind project in Karnataka, India. As per the agreement, Siemens Gamesa will supply 37 of its 3.X platform turbines, known as SG 3.6-145, for the project. The turbines would be manufactured at Siemens Gamesa’s facilities in India, and installation work at the site is slated to begin in 2023.

India plans to build ten nuclear plants over the next three years

The government of India is planning to develop ten nuclear power stations in “fleet mode” over the next three years. According to the reports, the nuclear power plants will be built over a five-year period, starting with the first pour of concrete (FPC). The FPC will take place in 2023 at the 700 MW Kaiga nuclear power plant in Karnataka.
