Daystar Power is going to receive new funding to expand its operations in Nigeria. The International Finance Corporation (IFC), the World Bank Group’s private sector financing arm, has committed $20 million to the solar hybrid systems supplier.

To increase the spread of its solution to households in West Africa, the company recently carried out a financial mobilisation that raised $38 million. The solar off-grid provider will use these funds to expand its activities in West Africa.
