Spearmint Energy purchases a battery storage project in Texas
Spearmint Energy, a US-based renewable energy platform, has announced the acquisition of Revolution, a 150 MW battery energy storage project in Texas. For an undisclosed sum, the project was purchased from Con Edison Development, a subsidiary of Con Edison Clean Energy Businesses. The Revolution project, one of the largest battery projects in Texas, is situated close to King Mountain Wind Farm in the Lower Colorado River Authority Territory (LCRA).
