OX2 has acquired a number of late-stage solar power projects totaling 152 MW in Andalusia, Spain. Since its establishment in April 2022, the company has made two acquisitions in the Spanish market. A contract has been reached by OX2 to purchase a portfolio of six solar power plants in Spain with a combined capacity of 152 MW. The projects are situated in Andalusia, Spain’s region with the highest solar radiation levels.

The OX2 development portfolio will include all of the acquired projects as late-stage projects starting in the fourth quarter of 2022. They have all been granted environmental licences. This is OX2’s second project acquisition in the Spanish market. In September 2022, two projects with a total capacity of 55 MW were acquired in Extremadura and Castilla la Mancha.

In November 2022, OX2 sold Helen and Bank of Land’s Wind Power Fund the Niinimäki wind farm in Finland. The Niinimäki wind farm would have a total installed capacity of 145 MW and 22 turbines. The site’s construction is slated to begin immediately, with completion scheduled for the end of 2024. No financial details of the deal were disclosed.
