This is a presentation titled “Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day Remarks” by Sunita Satyapal, Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office Director and Hydrogen Program Coordinator, U.S. Department of Energy, at the Hydrogen Online Conference, October 8, 2021.
According to the presentation, the key priority areas are: a) Low cost, clean hydrogen; b) Low cost, efficient, safe hydrogen, delivery and storage; c) Enable end use applications at scale for impact. The future strategy and related next steps are to accelerate R&D to reduce cost, de-risk demonstration and enable deployments and strategic scale up.
