CCE Group GmbH, often known as Clean Capital Energy, is an Australian solar developer intending to increase its Netherlands portfolio to more than 100 MW. The group made this statement recently when it announced that its Dutch subsidiary, CCE The Netherlands, had purchased the 2.5 MW Arendskerke solar park in Zeeland. The facility has a 30-year lease with the municipality and is situated on the site of a former clay pigeon shooting range close to Goes. It started functioning in 2019. CCE added that it intends to purchase further solar photovoltaic (PV) projects, either under construction or already in operation.

Earlier this month, DIF Capital Partners agreed to pay €150 million for a majority of the shares of Swedish solar company, Alight. The investment company would acquire the stake by acquiring several existing shareholders in a secondary buyout. The funding would be used by Alight to accelerate its pipeline of solar projects in the Nordic region and across Europe.
